Biographical Notes:

Throughout the 1950s, Stewart was in the Top ten at the box office.

Audiences always liked the movies he was in and the characters he portrayed.

He spent his first seven years of his screen career at MGM.

He won an Oscar for "The Philadelphia Story".

The good guy actor who was also the first movie star to enter the service for WWII. He was a Reserve Brigadier General in the U. S. Air Force.
